Ever wondered how you go from carbon-fibre mats stored in a freezer to a rigid carbon boat? Weβd be happy to explain. A carbon tender and a sailing yacht deck are currently under construction. Weβd also be delighted to show you the completed Solo and O-jol boats built by PD-racers.
In the workshop, youβll find an Ocean Rowing Boat built by us for the Ocean Rowing Company, along with the mould set we used to make it. Curious about what itβs like to row across the ocean? Ask ocean rower and multiple world record holder Mark Slats, who always has a great story to tell.
From 13:00 to 13:30, Undercover Duo will perform outside PDC. The Lokaal 55 food truck will be in the car park all day, serving free coffee, tea and lemonade, with snacks from the chefs to sample.
Our neighbours Friesland Autochade Herstel and JB Interieur-& Meubelbouw will also be open. Along the quay on the Prinses Margriet Canal, youβll find a push boat from Nautic Plus. A little train will take you to 23 other locations in the village.
