And just like that, it’s already here: the last working day of the year. It feels as though we blinked once and the year was over. But when we look back at the projects we’ve completed, we can only feel incredibly proud of how this year has gone.
For us, one of the highlights was undoubtedly the delivery of the 17-metre yacht. It was a fantastic project that gave us the chance to show the composites world what we’re capable of. With no confidentiality restrictions, we were able to make some wonderful videos and take you along on the project.
The newly developed construction method for the Eagle 46 was another special milestone. After years of development, it’s fantastic that we had the opportunity to bring it to life.
Alongside these two innovative projects, we built no fewer than six ocean rowing boats and four O-jolls under the name
of PD-Racers. We have several more ocean rowing boats on order. As for the O-joll, we currently don’t have the capacity to continue building them.
That brings the total to no fewer than 14 boat hulls delivered this year. Each one was a wonderful project, and every customer left with a smile. We’re ending the year with a mega mould—another special project, particularly in terms of its size.
We’re incredibly grateful for our team, and tonight we’ll raise a glass together to celebrate this fantastic year. Then we’ll close our doors for a short break before returning on 2 January, refreshed and ready to get started on 2024.
