Paul Dijkstra Composites was founded in 2012 and has been around for almost 15 years. Paul started out on his own, but we now have a friendly team of 22 men and women from diverse backgrounds. There is no course in the Netherlands tailored to one-off composite construction, so most of our team members learned the trade here.
What we do
At PDC, we build one-off composite boat hulls and components. Around 75% of our composite hulls and components are made from carbon fibre. We use the latest techniques, such as Sprint and prepreg, and clean construction methods that create a healthy working environment. Because every project is a one-off, we create a new plan for each boat. We keep up with the times and explore more sustainable materials. This makes the work highly varied, but also calls for plenty of thought from our team. In addition to building composite products, we also make moulds for other companies to produce their own one-off products.
