Episode 1 – Using 3D CoreKit for Eagle46

Creating the first ever built one-off sailing yacht without a traditional mould and the associated lead-time and tooling waste by using a relatively new product, the 3D Core KitTM. For this Eagle 46 sailing Yacht a minimal wooden assembly jig is used to assemble and bond the thermoformed foam core kit. The foam core kit subsequently forms the basis for the lamination of the inner and outer carbon structure.
